This was just okay. My family didn't really like it. It did have a bit of a ketchup taste.

Peanut Butter Fudge Cake

WOW!!! I'm not even the big chocolate/peanut butter eater in the house and I even thought this was great. I made exactly as recipe calls but did microwave the peanut butter to spead on easier. This will be made often in my house. Thanks

Asian Coleslaw

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
This is awesome. Beware it makes quite a bit. I don't add the dressing to all of the slaw because I know we'll have leftovers. So just add to what you'll eat at that meal because it's best with the dressing just added. I made a few slight changes. I used one tablespoon of sesame oil and 2 Tbls olive oil. I also used 1/2 red peppper and 1/2 yellow pepper. Then I chopped some peanuts up and tossed some on top. It looked and tasted wonderful. What a great way to use up cabbage and all the peppers in my garden. Thanks for a great recipe.

The BEST Raspberry Margarita!

I was really looking forward to this drink and was seriously let down. What a waste of good liqueur. Maybe it depends on the sweet and sour mix but we did not like it.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

I make this a few times every winter and freeze it to pull out for lunches since it makes so much. I only use 4 chicken breasts and find that to be more than enough meat for us.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2009
Nothing spectacular. I made with an expensive balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup as listed in recipe. I only added 1/2 the amount of spices as listed in the recipe due to many people saying it was too strong. It was okay but not worth the time to make again.

Apricot Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2009
Another rare recipe that my whole family liked. I cooked the chicken in a frypan with the green peppers and some garlic I didn't add the tablespoon of chicken broth as Ididn't want to open a can just for that. It tasted great. Made with a brown rice and my family asked if I'd make it the next day again.

Streusel Rhubarb Bread

I'm not a big bread eater and my husband doesn't like rhubarb cooked. We both loved it as well as everyone I've made it for and I've made it three times in the last week. I can't stop eating it. I actually add 2 cups of rhubarb. SOOO Good!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Finally another recipe that the whole family likes. I only made one change since some people felt it was a bit salty I didn't add the soup mix and instead added some dried onions I had and it turned out perfect. They all liked the gravy and that's saying alot since I don't have gravy lovers.

OMG This was sooo good. You can't even tell it's zucchini. I used more garlic because we love it. Next time we're adding chicken and I can't wait to have it again.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
This was awesome. I followed another persons advice and used 1/2 c. Parmesan and 1/2 Panko and sprinkled it over the top then baked it for about 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I used french bread that I buttered and seasoned with a little garlic salt and toasted. It flew out of the bowl. Thanks for the recipe.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
My family thought it was the best pie ever. I only put in one 8 oz tub of whippped topping then made some fudge sauce and put it in the bottom of the pie crust and froze that for 1/2 hour before putting on the peanut butter mixture. It worked out perfectly. I cut peanut butter cups in half and arranged over the top.

Raspberry Oatmeal Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
I pretty much like anything sweet but this just wasn't good. The bars tasted like dry cake mix there wasn't enough jam either and I added more than what was recommended. I've had other oatmeal raspberry bars that were much better. The cake mix makes it much too sweet and I've never complained about anything being too sweet in my life.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2008
This was awesome! I really didn't change much either. I did use yellow summer squash since I have so much and didn't figure it was much different than zucchini. Some people complained about the dry batter. So I peeled it then shredded the squash real fine, then added the salt to it. I did add about 1 TBLS more of oil. Also I've never read how big a zucchini should be to use or if you should use the seeds. I used a very large squash(16 inches across)I cut out all the seeds and just used the "meat" of the squash and I used 2 packed cups. My husband and kids say it's the best brownie they've ever had. Real moist. The frosting was great too. Thanks for a great brownie.

My family loves this dessert. It's really easy to make and tastes nothing like an ice cream sandwich. People are amazed when I tell them what is in it. I use 29 ice cream bars packed tightly. Enjoy!!
