Tartar Sauce IV

Fantastic!! I just realized I was out of Tartar sauce and was making fish sticks and tater tots for my toddlers... oh, the horror, had I not found this recipe!! had to sub out pickles for sweet relish as it was all I had on hand, but still turned out great!! No need to buy store bought again :D

Homemade Pancake Mix

This was good, but too much work for pancakes that weren't necessarily better than a box mix. Probably won't make again. Classic Waffles from this site is better and easier.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Ok... this has to be the best Mac N Cheese recipes I've tried! I made the following changes... used 16 ounces of macaroni ('cause let's face it... 7 ounces isn't nearly enough!) 2 C. sharp cheddar and 2 C. Mozarella. Added 1/2 C. parmesan to 1 C. italian bread crumbs and cut with pastry blender to make the topping. Got RAVE reviews from whole family. Leftovers heated up well too... we ate this for 3 days! Will definitely make again!

Holy Cow! I loved this!!! Flavors turned out sooo good! Next time will triple the recipe and freeze it! Great over any pasta... sooo much better than store bought!

Busy Day Chicken

This was pretty good... simple and easy. I haven't been having much luck with my slow cooker and chicken lately, so I used breasts and cooked them in the oven at 350 for an hour. Will probably cut the time down to 45 min. next time as the chicken was just a tad over-cooked, but other than that, it went over well with my family.

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken

I don't know what I did wrong, but this turned out awful! I packaged this up in a freezer bag and then thawed and put in my slow cooker... cooked on low for just shy of 8 hours and the chicken tasted like salty saw dust. There was no redeeming this one by turning it into something else. I had to toss the whole thing. Will not be trying this one again.

Classic Waffles

This was quick and easy! My 10 year old nephew added mini choc chips to this and made breakfast for his sisters... the waffles turned out great! I love a great recipe made entirely of pantry staples! Will definitely make again!

Best Ziti Ever

I wouldn't go so far as to say "best ever", but good enough... sauce is too bland... needs a little jazzing up. I used Pre-cooked meatballs from Costco in mine... the meatballs were the best part. Will probably make again, but not without modifying.

OMG!! This was fantastic! My two year old had 3rds!! Followed the recipe... didn't make any changes. I actually preped it weeks in advance and froze it in a ziploc bag. When I was ready to use, I just thawed and dumped the bag into my slow cooker... no muss, no fuss! Will definitely be making this a staple at our house!

Elbows and Ground Beef

I thought this was terrific! The sauce made sooo much though... I split the sauce in half and froze it. When I was ready to serve it up I heated it up on the stove and poured over 16 ounces of large macaroni. My family really liked it. Will definitely make again.

Quick and Easy Brownies

I loved this!!! Quick and Easy is the perfect title. My 2 year old and I made these in a snap and they turned out terrific! I omitted the nuts and added chocolate chips instead. Other than that we followed the directions exactly. Nice and cakey, great with vanilla ice cream! This will be my standard brownie recipe from now on!
