Black Bean Soft Tacos

I half the recipe, added 1/4 c sweet frozen corn, 1 zucchini, added 1/2 tsp powdered garlic, and kept the spices the same. Very tasty!

This exactly what I was looking for. I added pasta to make it a really good meal. This was great for lunch because it could be eaten cold as we dont have a working mircowave. I also like to serve this over a bed of mixed greens. The dressing from the chickpea salad drips down on the mixed greens, and its like I get a bonus salad! Yum!

Apricot Brandy Cake

Grilled Salmon I

Tiramisu II

I made this for my sis in laws b-day, and she loved it! The only thing is I would half the liquer that is used if serving to people how dont really like the taste. I used kalula instead of rum. I also used cool whip instead of making my own whipped cream. Doing this ommites and extra step and tasted just as good. I also used the hard lady figures instead of the soft, the soak up a lot of the coffe mix so be careful or else you end up with mush (but it still tasted great!).

French Apple Tart (Tarte de Pommes a la Normande)

Very yummy tart. This my first time making a tart, and it turn out great. I didn't use brandy, I used 3/4 tsp of almond extract instead. I kinda over worked the dough, so it was slightly chewier then I think it was supposed to be. I also didn't have a tart/pie pan, so i used a spring form pan instead and crimped the sides. Served with vanilla ice cream and the flavors exploded!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Great cookie recipie. It was soft and chewy and tasted great. Its not too sweet. I din't put nut in it so I doubled the amount of chocolate chips and I added an extra 1/2 cup of oatmeal like another reviewer suggested. I didn't have a problem with the spreading too much, the were just right!

Mint Chocolate Cookie Crunch

A very quick and easy recipie. The cookie had good texture and was crispy. I added an extra tsp of peppermint extract as stated by another reviewer. I think next time instead of semi-sweet chocolates, I will replace them with andies mints so that would be just one less step and the minty taste will be assured.

Ravioli Dolci (Sweet Ravioli)

This is a very tasty cookie! I would have only given it 4 stars, but on a whim i added a drizzle of white and semi-sweet chocolate, it really made these cookies "pop" with the cherry perserves. They look great and are super Yummy!

Viennese Crescent Holiday Cookies

I LOVE these cookies. They are buttery and crumble/melt in your mouth. They are a bit of work but well worth it! These were my favorite out of all the christmas cookies I made this year. They are both visually appealing and tast very gourmet!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies III

A very good cookie! This is a peanut butter lover's dream. I did make the filling, but in the end didn't use it because the cookies tasted great with out it. For a softer chewy cooking, I slightly under cooked the cookie by a mintue.

Chocolate Mint Pinwheels

The cookie looks awsome but the taste was okay. Not overly "chocolatity" or "minty." To add a little bit more mint taste, I dipped the cookies in semi-sweet chocolate, with a tsp of pepermint extract. It gave the cookies a little something extra they needed. I also like the black and white cookie look, so didn't use the food coloring. I think it looks more "upscale" with out it.

Cream Puffs

Very easy recipe. I accidentlly bought whipping cream instead of heavy whipping cream, but it turned out pretty good anyway. Also for an extra touch, I cut up some strawberries and stuffed the shelss before piping in the filling.

World's Best Lasagna

Really was great dish! I got raves for it. Very yummy. Although next time I think I will but 1/2 Tablespoon. it was a bit salty for my taste. Also I couldn't find fennel seeds but it tastes great anyway.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

I suck at making chocolate chip cookies, but i try and try again. This recipie was very easy and they came out awesome. I tried not to over mix the batter to advoid hard cookies. I also refrigerated the dough 1/2 hr before use. they dont spread and flaten out too much. Mine came out light, chewy, and a little fluffy.
