Hi, my name is Cindy. I am from southern CA, born and raised. I come from a Vietnamese background, but my family is very Americanized. My mom is a great cook, but a terrible baker, so I fulfilled that role in my family. I LOVE to bake, but sadly, there aren't too many sweet tooth's in my family. Although I am not the greatest baker around, I try. I love to bake sweets, cook Italian, Mexican, and Ansion foods, and I love to make Sushi rolls. Every year, just before the holidays, me and my mom become an Vietnamese egg roll factory. We will spend a how day making egg rolls, then freeze them for the upcoming holiday. Also like everyone else, Thanksgiving is a biggie holiday were my mom (the chief) and me (the sou chief) again have a cook-a-thon =) This year (2007) I made 9 different cookies and gave them out as gifs. They looked really beautiful and tasted great. Everyone loved them! There are too many. But lets just say, this year is the first year I was able to make an eatable chocolate chip cookie!
