Finally a cherry pie success story. I've been trying for 13 years to make my husband his favorite dessert and each time, I end up throwing it in the trash. This recipe is foolproof. I also upped the cherry amount as stated in previous reviews. Yum Yum Yum. I made a little too much filling (if thats even possible!) and we had it over ice cream. Delish! The only problem is now my husband wants one pie a week. LOL

I was a little hesitant about this recipe at first. As written it sounds a bit bland. But it proved to be an excellent base to start with. I used fiesta cheese soup and added about a Tbsp of taco seasoning along with about 1/4 of the can of green chiles. I also topped the dish off with 1 cup of reduced fat cheese. I decreased the milk to 1/4 cup as well. This turned out to be a good balance of mild vs spicy to accomodate my 8 y/o who doesnt like things too hot. If he werent eating with us, I would have added more taco seasoning and perhaps some spicy traditional enchilada sauce. All in all this was a very good, super quick meal.

Excellent, Quick and Delish!!! I literally threw this together in just a few minutes and it was gobbled up nearly as fast! I did alter it a bit, by omitting the garlic salt, and just using 2-3 small cloves of fresh garlic instead, Plus I didnt measure the spinach. I just used a few big handfuls off the brick. (I have small hands) Even my husband who hates spinach and cream cheese gobbled this treat up!!
