Oh wow this is so soo yummy!!! I bake all the time, but this was my first time making gingerbread, and my dad who loves gingerbread raved about it! I doubled the spices, used white whole wheat flour, added 1/2 cup of applesauce. I can't stop eating it:)

This is BY FAR the best chocolate cake ever. My mom tasted a bite tonight, and after her eyes rolled back in her head said that this beat out her favorite chocolate cake recipe that she's had forever. The chocolate cake by itself was good, but with this frosting was transformed into the most amazing cake ever! I made it for my grandpa's 80th birthday party for 20 people. EVERYONE RAVED!:)
