I love cooking and baking when I can find the time in my usually busy schedule.
My favorite things to cook
Chicken pot pie, baked ziti. desserts, especially pies. and cakes when I have the time. Before I went back to school, I used to make fun decorated cakes for everyone's birthday Breakfast/Brunch
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom would use OJ and Oatmeal as substitutions for Milk and the dried mix when making pancakes... Cooking ability skips a generation in my family apparently.
My cooking triumphs
A cake shaped like a roller coaster... first of many fancy cakes.
My cooking tragedies
I hate layered desserts... I inevitably would be left with a perfectly cooked middle and top layer with a raw bottom.

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake
I adjusted this to 8 servings and made it in a mini cheesecake pan, halved the flour, and doubled the Irish cream. It was so rich and so good!! Now I just wish I had another excuse to make it!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
Great Recipe. I use Blue cheese and cooked chicken in mine, and serve it with tortilla chips and philly soft pretzels, cut into bite size chunks.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I
This is a very good recipe. As suggested by others, I dipped the chicken in egg before the breadcrumbs. Also, instead of using a honey mustard sauce as suggested, I spread honey mustard on the chicken before I put down the meat & cheese.
