Cheese Filled Triangles

My husband and friends really liked these. It is a lot of work using the phyllo dough. I've also made the filling and put them in the phyllo dough pastry cups to save a ton of time and they were still great.

Cheddar Bacon Hamburgers

Excellent recipe!! Will definitely make these over and over again! I did add some finely diced sweet onion but the rest of the recipe I did exactly the same. Very moist. Had to add an egg to help keep it together and even then they wanted to fall apart on the grill. Next time I will freeze the patties and grill them right from the freezer to see if they hold together better.

Pretzel Turtles

Doesn't have to be square pretzels. The small heart-shaped ones work just as well, if not better, because the Rolo is round.

This is an EXCELLENT sauce. I made it just like the recipe said and it was perfect. I don't even like blueberries that well but this was wonderful! We put it on cheesecake and it was excellent!

This is an excellent sauce for many different recipes. I make it exactly like the recipe calls for, but at the end I sometimes put it in the blender to make a smoother sauce. It's great for shredded chicken or beef. Excellent recipe! Excellent flavor!

Plum Blueberry Upside Down Cake

A Catering Company's Marinade

I didn't see anything special about this recipe at all. It didn't give the chicken any flavor. I even added twice as much soy sauce and let it marinade for 7 hours. It still just tasted like plain ole chicken.

Angel Biscuit Rolls

I thought the yeast would do something more for the biscuits, but they were the same as baking powder biscuits. They were good, but needed more flavor. Next time I might use some butter flavored shortening instead of regular.

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

I used 1c. butter, 1/2c. butter flavored crisco and 1/2c. regular crisco and it was excellent! This is the recipe I have been looking for! Tastes like Hy-Vee bakery frosting.
