My family LOVED this soup! I was really impressed with how well it came out -- better than a local chef's salmon chowder! I like that it's made with fairly low-fat ingredients, too. It's nice to see that you don't need cream or half-and-half to make a creamy soup!

Turkey 'n Stuffing Bake

Very yummy recipe! I needed to use Cream of Mushroom because I didn't have C. of Celery but I don't think that made much of a difference. We had 2 dinner guests tonight and the 6 of us polished it off very quickly. My kids (5&7) also LOVED it and asked for more.

Asian Salmon

My family and I thought this was very good. I doubled the marinade but did not double the oils. I also should not have doubled the garlic and onion. It was WAY too garlicky! My husband and 2 small girls thought it was awesome and wanted seconds!

Hot Cross Buns I

Yum! Yum! Yum! These rolls were wonderful! I had made the traditional hot cross buns for Easter and then decided to try these, too, at the last minute. These were WAY better than the ones that had taken me hours of mixing, kneading & rising! I heeded a previous review and added allspice, butter flavoring, vanilla and raisins. You NEED to give these a try. Very easy and very yummy!

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

Yuck. Mine didn't turn out like I'd hoped. It was chewy instead of crunchy and it stuck to our teeth very badly. Maybe I need to experiment with the timing but I think I'd rather go back to the regular way that always turns out light and crunchy. Thanks anyway.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Very yummy and addicting! I topped mine w/ cherry pie filling, frozen sliced strawberries and mini chocolate chips. They were a big hit at the New Year's Eve party and everyone thought I'd slaved for hours. They were fairly quick and looked VERY pretty on a serving tray.

I thought these were very good. You do need to add a lot more flour than the recipe calls for to keep the dough from sticking to everything during the kneading process.

Broccoli Beef I

My family and I LOVE this recipe. It's very yummy and satisfying. I do make a couple of changes, though. I use sirloin steak because it's more tender. I use a bit more garlic and finely chopped ginger and I add sliced onions to give it that almost-Chinese-restaurant taste. I also separate some out for the kids and then add red pepper flakes to the remainder for my husband and I and our spicy palates! Very yummy!

Baked French Toast

I love this recipe!! I've made it 5 times in the last 2 months and every time I serve it it's a big hit! I do only use 6 eggs and 1 cup of milk, though, otherwise it's too mushy in the middle. Make sure and slice your bread AT LEAST 1" thick -- even a little thicker than 1" is best so that the liquid can be absorbed into the bread rather than staying on the bottom of the dish. Definitely sprinkle w/ toasted pecans! Very yummy!

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

This is the coleslaw recipe I've always wanted. Our whole family, including the kids, ate it all up quickly. I do think I will cut back a bit on the sugar next time...it was plenty sweet. Thanks for a great recipe!

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

This dish was WAY too salty for me. I did not have low-sodium soup on hand so that might have helped but if you're sensitive to salt then this is probably not the dish for you. I added some milk and then thickened w/ cornstarch but it was still way too soupy. My husband and family thought it was good. I wouldn't make it again.
