My mother was a bit of a tom boy and not a great cook so I have been cooking ever since I've been tall enough to see over the stove I make a macaroni and cheese that is to die before and what I like to think is the "best" meatloaf in the world.(Or a least the best I've ever had) Every Christmas my mother and I would bake cookies and make fudge and the entire house would smell wonderful. My first Thanksgiving dinner, I cooked the turkey in a brown bag from the market and it was beautifully browned and juicy. I've had to many to remember, the worst was when I baked a frozen pizza that "taste like delivery" and left the cardboard on the bottom and the kitchen filled with smoke
