About this Cook
I love to cook and I love to eat but I am easily frustrated with advanced methods and absolutely hate doing dishes after. Luckily my husband is a big help there. I don't often cook elaborate meals (or much at all), but when I do they are generally successful.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake! Any type of cookie, but also pies and cakes of all types and I have recently started experimenting with candies.

Christmas Stars
Great cookies! I didn't change a thing and they came out beautiful. There was a bit of a learning curve with the cut outs. I ended up transferring the dough between the two cookie cutters on top of a spatula onto the baking sheet and then removing the cutters from there. That seemed to work best. I used raspberry and pomegranate spread with green sprinkles on the top layer. Also, the thinner I was able to get them, the better they turned out (just had to keep an eye on cooking time). Perfect for the holidays!

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie
This pie was excellent and my first attempt at pumpkin pie from an actual pumpkin. I did add all the ingredients back into the blender before pouring them into the crust just to make sure everything was good and pureed. This was a lot of work but well worth it. As other reviews mentioned, it is soooo easy to freeze the puree and make another pie later that I did so with another pumpkin.

Brian's Easy Stuffed Flounder
I leave out the shrimp because my fiance hates shrimp and added some Worcestershire because I like it... Tasted amazing. Pretty easy to make too but I ended up with way too much stuffing. Maybe my fish was too small.
