About this Cook
Born in Canada to two Hungarian immigrant parents. Hungarian was my first language. Moved to NJ in time to start kindergarten. My sister and I still refer to our upbringing as "ethnic". We were the kids who had PB & J on rye bread (w/Apricot jelly).
My favorite things to cook
Believe it or not - some of the hungarian recipes of my youth. Now my daughters want to know they will one day be able to make those same things.

Pan Seared Salmon I
Delicious! I used a pepper/garlic seasoning mix. My husband really enjoyed it.

Country Apple Dumplings
Really good - I think in the future I will try and cut the sugar and the butter. Really easy to make and very tasty! Oh, I used diet mountain dew - it was good.

Key Lime Pie VII
The taste was good but the color threw me. It didn't resemble the look of key lime. Also it was a heavier consistency than I expected - my came out close to a cheesecake consistency.
