This tasted wonderful prepared exactly as written!! Yum! I only gave it four stars because although the taste was outstanding, the texture of the thin, spiral sliced ham was dry...next time, I'll buy the 4 lb. ham whole and slice it into thick pieces myself.

Garlic Chicken

Prepared EXACTLY as written. Very quick, very easy, very bland. It needs something, but my goal is to prepare allrecipe's recipes exactly as written and give my opinion on the original recipe, not to tweak it into a different recipe all together. Next.

Sloppy Joes II

I pentupled the ingredients in this recipe and prepared it EXACTLY AS WRITTEN, and it was a hit at my son's birthday party! I mean, a HUGE hit!! I will definitely be making this again, exactly as written. :)

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Sugar Snap Peas with Mint

This is one of those recipes where the name is the most exciting thing about it. It sure sounded fun and different, but prepared as-is, these snap peas were pretty bland. Sure, I ended up doctoring them up, but I won't bother sharing because it doesnt' affect my rating when prepared exactly as written.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

I've never made pancakes from scratch before--why bother, what with boxed mixes being so easy and good? But then last week, I stumbled across this recipe while looking for something to 'wow' my family with for breakfast. I ultimately choose this recipe because I had ALL of the ingredients on hand, and I'm one of those cooks who follows recipes to a 'T' the first time that I make it. Prepared EXACTLY as written, these delicious little pancakes turned out light and fluffy and they melted in our mouths! I served these with Cinnamon Honey Butter from this site and WOW!!!! I can't believe that I've been using a mix all these years! But not anymore! Thanks soooo much for sharing this little gem with us ;)

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

nom nom nom...this was very, very good and very, very easy to prepare. I added a small chopped onion, but other then that, followed the recipe exactly as it was written. Similar to "cheesy potato casserole", but the cream of potato soup instead of the cream of chicken soup actually bumps this casserole up a few notches! Delish, will make this one again and again and again...

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This is delicious! I only added a teaspoon of double-strength vanilla to the batter, but other then that, follwed the recipe exactly. This bread is super-moist, and was perfect paired with my morning coffee! Will be making this several times this autumn.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Doubled the recipe, filled 10 tortilla's, followed the recipe exactly, and these were great! O.K., so I might have added a bit extra cheese on the top, but other then that small change, this recipe rocks as-is! Will make again, in fact, already did!
