Chicken Stuffing Bake

I didn't really care for this. The stuffing got too soggy and the celery stayed crispy. I won't make this again.

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

These were pretty good. I chose this recipe because I had extra whipping cream I needed to use. I followed other reviewer suggestions and added a litle sugar and vanilla. The flavor was good, but very delicate and easily overpowered by butter and syrup. My waffles did not turn out crispy at all but this may be the fault of my waffle iron.

Best Ever Banana Bread

I am always looking for ways to use up left over buttermilk. This was a perfectly fine banana bread recipe but not "best ever." I have other recipes I like more. Definitely tastier a day or two after its made.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I have experimented with a lot of cheesecake recipes over the years and this was one of the best. Very creamy, dense, and delicious. Several people asked for the recipe. I used my own crust recipe and made a sour cream topping. Definite keeper.

Make Ahead Lunch Wraps

These were pretty darn good. I added green onion to the mix. Next time I will leave out the corn because I didn't like the sweet note the corn gave these wraps. Definitely keeping this recipe though!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

This gets points for ease of preperation but was a little on the bland side. The au jus needed something. I had to punch it up with a lot of spices to make it flavorful. I'd try it again because the idea was great, but it definitely needs some tweeking.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I have been on a quest for the perfect chicken pot pie recipe and have tried several. So far this one has come the closest to my idea of great, but as written, is a bit dry. Like other reviewers I double the sauce. I don't like a lot of crust so I just use a top crust. Delicious.

Rocky Road Fudge Bars

These were really yummy. I added an extra ounce of chocolate to the brownie part and substituted almonds for the walnuts. These freeze well.

Kentucky Biscuits

Really delicious, very tender buscuits. Sometimes I like to make buscuit sandwiches and these are too delicate for that, but this is, by far, the best buscuit recipe I have ever tried.

Pork Cutlets with Cranberry Wine Sauce

I like fruit with pork and enjoy the flavor of wine in cooking so I thought I would really love this recipe. In the end it was just OK. Good, but not fabulous. It does get points for easy prep and quick cooking though.

Frosted Grapes

Fun idea but a little too sweet for my tastes. Also, it was hard to tell how wet or dry the grapes should be; too wet and the jello clumped up, too dry and the jello didn't seem to stick at all. Worth a try, anyways.

I only added half of the sugar called for and still found this dish way too sweet for my taste. However, I think it would be delicious without the sugar so I will definitely make this again with that one modification.

Olive Cheese Melts

Tasty but a bit salty. I thnk there is plenty of sodium in the cheese and olives so next time I will omit the added salt. Made these as an accompaniment to green salad for a litght meal and it was a nice change of pace.
