Black Bottom Cupcakes II

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

These were pretty good. I had to thicken the sauce before serving. I did add more cheese than the recipe called for and some additional seasonings to jazz them up a little.

Peanut Butter Brownies

Good brownies. I followed other reviewers suggestions and used half the amount of peanut butter. Next time I'll make them using my normal brownie recipe as the base because the brownie base you make with the recipe is more cake like than I prefer.

Chocolate Rocky Road Cookies

Delicious cookies! I read the reviews and was concerned about the marshmallow leaking out of the cookie so I did a test with two cookies, one with the marshmallow on top and the other I added after baking. Personally, I like the marshmallow baked with the cookies because it browns nicely and looks like a perfectly roasted marhsmallow. I was sure to push the marshmallow down into the cookie dough a bit so it wouldn't fall off when baking. I'm not sure if this helped, but I had great results.

Cheeseburger Soup II

Delicious! I didn't have hash browns on hand so I shredded three medium potatoes instead and this worked fine. I also used a combination of Velveeta and shredded cheddar cheese to give the soup a more cheesy flavor.

My mom has been making this for years. It's delicious and always a big hit. Very good if you sprinkle cinnamon and sugar between the crust and custard layer.
