It´s drinkable but way too sweet and waaaaayyyy to strong. Instead of getting rid of your thirst it makes you more thirsty.

Slow Cooker Vegetable Chili

I really enjoyed this easy and delicious recipe. My mother is a very picky eater loved it. Meatless chili, thank you so very much for this.

This recipe had way too much chicken broth. I used the juice of two potatoes to thicken the chili. I think the chicken broth took away flavor of the chili. The finished product is not bad, but I think chili should have more of a meaty flavor and a little more spice, while at the same time less cumin. Again, this is not bad, it´s just not a real chili flavor in my opinion.

Creamy Rice Pudding

This is the best Rce Pudding I have ever had. For those who wonder why 2 pans, because of the rice that sticks to the bottem of the first pan. This will get rid of the any stuck or burnt flavoring. I did not use sugar but condensed milk, that is the only change I made. I give it 5 stars for taste, ease of making, and appearance. Thank you.

Garden Meatloaf

I tried this recipe out and I just didn't like the sweet spicy combo. The 1/2 cup of brown sugar was way too much and it gave the meatloaf an unnatural flavor. I think it has potential though. I will be using less sugar next time and I will also try to figure a way so that it doesn't come out so dry. I'm sorry for the low rating.

Mexican Rice III

I tried it and it has a good flavor. I over salted it though. I don't think it needs salt if you are using broth and cubes to flavor it. Not bad, only thing was the color was off a bit. Maybe add some tomato paste and sauce to give it a deeper orange color. But the flavor was good, cept for the saltiness. . . my fault.

Potato Salad Dressing I

I think this is simple and has a nice twang to the flavor. I give it a four. If you like a sweet vinegar taste, this is a great potato dressing.

Dill Sauce for Hamburgers

I liked this sauce, but it does have a strong flavor. I think the flavor of the sauce is overpowering the flavor of the hamburger meat. However if the hamberger meat is not seasoned I highly recommend this Dill Sauce. If your hamburger meat IS seasoned, then maybe I would try a tablespoon less of Dill. I still give it 4 stars, it has a good flavor.

Bleu Cheese Macaroni

I really enjoyed this adult version of macaroni and cheese. It was a different change of pace and I love blue cheese to begin with. I would not change a thing, except maybe make it a little more creamy. It's even better the next day. Take note, you have to like blue cheese to enjoy this dish.

South African Potato Salad

I enjoyed this potato salad. Everyone was trying to figure out the ingrediants because it does have an original taste to it. It makes people wonder and it's funny to watch their expressions as they notice there is something special and different about this potato salad. I didn't give it a 5 because while delicious it was not restaurant material, but for home and for anyone that loves potato salad, I do recommend this salad. I don't think it's for everyone, but everyone in my family did enjoy it.

Bacon Ranch Pea Salad

I really liked this salad, it was quick and easy to make. I love the comibination of bacon and ranch, very nice flavor. I have made this recipe a few times altering this or that or not altering anything. It's so versatile. I would recommend that for onions, the best one to use in this salad are the green onions. They have alot more flavor. Thank you suessinmi

Baked Meaty Beans

I would have rated it a 5 star (that's what it should be) but the dutch oven was confusing me. I might be new, but I know that certain pots and pans can give the food a different taste and I thought maybe the Dutch oven did that. In anycase I just used a regular pan and I 1/2'd the recipe. It was still plentiful even though it went kind of quick. Very very delicious and easy to make. I made it in my wok. Thanks Danopak.

Angel Cake Surprise

I liked this recipe, very tropical, sweet and light. The instructions were a bit confusing (hence the 3 rating)but easy to straighten out. I let the gelatin cool before putting the bananas and pineapple on top and then let the pudding cool (did not use instant) before putting that on top of the gelatin. It was very delicious. Thank you Mel. I like the strawberry idea from another review and will try that out next.
