B'more girl, born and raised. I enjoy being a country girl and it shows in my cooking,my accent, and my style in general. I loooove seafood dishes. And I cant live without soups. Fried Chicken, Baked macaroni and cheese, and collard greens. Mmmm Sounds like Sunday dinner. During the week, my grandfather grilled in the backyard all year round. Everything from fish to vegetables to meats were on the grill, come rain, sleet, or snow. I duplicated a paiella we had a local restaurant called Salsa Grille. It was SOOOOO good. i think my family requested it a few times that month. I can NOT consistently cook a proper pot of rice. Sad to say for a country girl. But I'm getting better at it. :)
