Sunshine Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
My husband and I really enjoyed this. The sauce was very good and was so easy. I used boneless, skinless thighs and served with baby spinach salad with grapes, nuts, raisins, parmesan cheese and a lite raspberry dressing. I will make this again and again and even try the sauce on the grill in the summertime.

Baked Beans, Texas Ranger

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
These were excellent! I made them for the 4th and they got rave reviews. I doubled the recipe, used plain pork 'n beans and hot breakfast sausage. So easy to make, this will definitely be my go-to recipe for baked beans! Thanks Daphne!

Strawberry Chocolate Mousse Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
I made this for a birthday at work. It was very good and got a lot of compliments. I, personally, thought the mousse was slightly on the bitter side and would be better with milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. The strawberries offset this some. I'll try milk chocolate or maybe white chocolate next time. I skipped the blender step as someone recommended and just poured the water/syrup mixture over the choc chips in a bowl - worked out fine. Oh, I also used the brownie crust as another reviewer mentioned. Was fabulous!

Traci's Chicken Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
I normally don't leave a review unless I made the recipe exactly as listed. It's just not fair. However, we liked this very much, so Thanks Traci for a great base recipe! I did not have Velveeta on hand, I just added some cream cheese and shredded cheese to the soup mixture. I thought the amount of onion was perfect. I also did add 1 cup of mixed veggies (green beans, carrots, peas - frozen) and some crushed Ritz crackers mixed with butter on top. I cooked the noodles and did not refrigerate overnight. Great! I can't wait to make it exactly as written next time!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2008
i made this recipe the way it's written and also with some of the suggestions. i used jif peanut butter. in my opinion, the recipe is best as written. the additives of vanilla, baking powder made it runny and too greasy and the cookies spread. the batch i made with only the 3 listed ingredients were chewy and wonderful.

Mashed Potato Casserole

Reviewed: May 10, 2007
Thanks Mary for the note about the refrigerated onion dip in the tub - I was thinking as I read the recipe that it was the package of dry mix as well! My hubby loves mashed potatoes and I decided to try this to put a new spin on things. The recipe was quick and easy and the potatoes were delicious. Thanks again Mary!

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2002
This is the best spinach/artichoke dip recipe I have ever tried! It is very creamy -- not at all oily like some artichoke recipes can be. I will make it again and again. Thanks for sharing, Stephanie! Yes, the key is the marinated artichokes. I've noticed other lower ratings used the plain ones.
