Zucchini Apple Bread

This was just okay. A little too dense for me, and it dried out within a day. I will stick with the Cranberry Zucchini Bread on this site.

Cranberry Zucchini Bread

This is very good and moist. Made 1 large loaf and 2 mini's. Making more today to freeze -- all mini's. I think I will add a bit more zucchini only because I want to use up what I shredded yesterday.

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Very good. Made this today for family. I used chicken thighs & legs. Cooked a little longer (15 mins.) because of the bone in the meat. Also used a little more melted butter (about 2 tbs.) and removed the foil for about 10 minutes in the middle of baking. Overall, very good and no leftovers!

Babe Ruth Bars

I have to agree with another reviewer. I wasn't very impressed, but the young children loved them (hence the 4 stars). But every adult agreed that they were way too sugary and sweet. And it was difficult to mix, and I even slightly crushed the corn flakes like another reviewer. Probably will not make again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Very good basic recipe. I also dredged meat in seasoned flour and quickly seared in olive oil. I then used some of the beef stock to deglaze the pan and added to the slow cooker. Didn't use any additional flour, but I did add a can of Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup along with fresh button mushrooms. I also used about 1/2 pkg of Birds Eye small whole frozen onions instead of chopped onion and baby carrots. This really turned out great. I was very pleased that the gravy wasn't real thick like some stews.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

This bread is awesome. I only had a 29 oz can of pumpkin, so I'm making 2 more loaves today for freezing. I did have to bake this a little longer than the recipe stated -- about 70 min. total.

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Guadalupe River Bottom Puddin' Cake

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This bread was great! Very moist. I ground all my spices fresh (got a spice grinder for xmas). This is the only pumpkin bread recipe I'll use.
