Couldn't think of a better hash brown recipe. I took the easy way out and used frozen shredded hash browns (thawed for 4 hours) and they were perfect and much less hassle than doing the potatoes by hand. I followed the recipe exactly except I added some spices to the egg mix like ceyenne pepper, regular pepper and seasoned salt. In addition I didn't use quite the entire bag of hash browns, maybe slightly over 3/4 so they would be easier to flip in the skillet. I won't make hash browns any other way from now on!

This was really good and I'll definitely make again. I made the recipe just as shown except I didn' have any red pepper which was fine and I added a ton of spices. I added some garlic pepper, crushed red pepper, garlic powder and some onion powder. It came out PERFECT! Thanks for the great recipe!

OUTSTANDING! I followed the recipe exactly and added a few things........a small can of green chiles, garlic powder and seasoned salt to the meat mixture. I also used HOT picante sauce to give it some kick. This is definitely something I'll be making in the future!
