About this Cook
I'm often described as a throw back to the 60 or 70's, a neo-hippie with a touch of romance and the gothic - a "dark bohemian rubenesque goddess." Mindful mama (and wife) with a Green Witch/UU/Quaker/Zen bent. Very interested in intention, herbs and cooking. One day I will have a place with acreage and have a huge garden / mini-farm - 'til then I am creative with "pot" gardening in my shadowy & shared yard.
My favorite things to cook
I adore baking, but as my health has been leading me to make changes, I'm cutting gluten out of my diet and will essentially have to relearn to bake. I am up for the adventure.

Creamy Spinach Tortellini
I adore this recipe. We use it basically as is with a 1/4 more milk. I also find it a wonderful backbone recipe to use when the "cupboard is bare" last time we tossed it a couple diced portabellas and broccoli florets.

Grilled Chicken Salad with Seasonal Fruit
Excellent. A big hit. Hubby and kids raved. The dressing is excellent. I see us making this often and so many possiblities.
