About this Cook
I am a CRNA, which is a RN who puts people to sleep for their surgery, keeps them safe during the procedure and wakes them up when its all done.
My favorite things to cook
Good foods. I love comfort foods, like mac and cheese. But I also love healthful foods that pack a punch of flavor.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Polish foods like pierogies (mom makes them homemade!) and stuffed cabbage. Other family faves are the simple comfort foods.

Juicy Chicken
Excellent! I love to make chicken on Sundays for the week--for salads, quesadillas, whatever. This couldn't have been easier! I used all ingredients as is.. I did however use chicken breasts that i cut into strips. I marinated them for about 2 hours. Layed them out on cookie sheet with edge, and poured a little of the marinade onto them. Broiled for about 5 minutes on one side, turned them over, broiled about 3-5 minutes more. EXCELLENT. so juicy!! Had for dinner that night. a salad the next day and a quesadilla 2 days later and they were still juicy. Finally no dried chicken!!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup
couldn't be better or easier! I used a rotissiere chicken breast (just cause I don't like canned chic) This was lunch for a week and everyone wanted to know what I had that smelled so good!

Gunline Coffee
AMAZING!! Just made this and had a cup, tastes just like the expensive star-schmucks! Am taking it to work tomorrow and can't wait to see how the folks like it. 7-1.25 oz envelopes was about 1.5cups of hot cocoa mix. Also I used the splenda/sugar mix: 3/4c. Perfecto!
