Raisin Buttermilk Coffee Cake
Great recipe! Only modification we made was to bake it in two 9x1 1/2 round cake pans and spread the mixture only on the top of the two pans of dough. Took it to somebody's house as an offering for them to have at breakfast; they couldn't wait and used it for dessert at a dinner party.

Italian Green Bean Chicken
We followed the recipe almost to the letter, just added slightly more fresh basil (our garden is filled with it). It is a very appealing dish and a surprisingly good combination - well beyond my expectations. It's also one of those recipes that is excellent if you are trying to behave yourself and eat healthy; good for almost anybody's diet. I think you could add more garlic and/or more basil and make it even better. We used Italian style green beans (because I prefer the taste) but I'm sure any green beans work well with the recipe.

Creamy Potato Leek Soup II
A really excellent combination of tastes, with no additional seasonings needed. I modified the recipe somewhat by mixing in one-third of the sauteed leeks with the cooked potatoes, then blending about two-thirds of the resulting soup into a puree before mixing it back in with the rest of the potatoes and adding the remaining leeks and cream. It's a very rich soup and Half and Half cream seems to sustain the flavor while reducing the calories and fat content somewhat.
