Coconut-Cream Cheese Frosting

Forget the store-bought frostings! This is so easy to make and soooo yummy! I didn't have any coconut extract, but I did use coconut cream instead of heavy cream. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you for sharing!

Buttermilk Pound Cake II

Absolutely yummy! It is so hard not to keep having another piece!!! I didn't have lemon extract so I used fresh lemon juice and doubled the amount called for. And my cake was done at 70 minutes. Thank you so much for sharing! This is a definite keeper.

Mushroom Chicken Piccata

Yum! I have been looking for a recipe similar to a dish at my favorite Italian restaurant and this is it!!! It is SO good! I did add minced garlic and some marinated artichokes to mimic the restaurant's version. I agree with other reviewers that the chicken doesn't really need the breading. Next time I will do without it. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Very good! I only made half a batch and added 1 TBS of flour and 2 TBS of milk as recommended by one reviewer. (Double if you are making a whole batch.) And they came out PERFECT. So good! Thanks for sharing!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Very good! And so easy to prepare! I was hesitant on the given cooking method so I just baked at 350 until roast reached 160 degrees F. (medium doneness) Perfect!

Restaurant-Style Zuppa Toscana

Very good! I used ground spicy sausage. I would recommend putting the onions after removing the bacon instead of at the same time. I put them in the same time and my onions were done way before the bacon was. Otherwise, great soup!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This turned out great! I used the pie crusts from Trader Joe's, and just did the regular pie top instead of the lattice. The brown sugar glaze on the top really made it look pretty and it tasted awesome. Will definitely use this recipe again.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Made this for Thanksgiving. It was pretty good. However I think I prefer the more plain mashed potatoes I'm used to, which uses just milk and butter. If I make these again, I think I will halve the amount of cream cheese. It was a little too noticeable in the potatoes.

I halved the recipe and baked in two 9-inch round pans for 25 minutes. I didn't have enough butter for the frosting so I topped with the Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting found here on AllRecipes. YUM!!! This is a definite keeper. Thank you for sharing!

Easy Peach Cobbler

This was pretty good, but like one reviewer mentioned, don't add water if using fresh peaches. Mine came out very runny too. Next time I will not add the water, or perhaps add some cornstarch to thicken it up as it cooks. Otherwise, pretty tasty.
