Blueberry Waffles with Fast Blueberry Sauce

This was a good recipe, and if you love blueberries you should love this recipe. For personal preferences I will add some sugar to the batter so that the waffles taste slightly sweet.

This was a good recipe, it tasted like cheese grits with sausage in them, but not something I would call extraordinary. The only warning is that is completely fills a 9x13 pan and it is alot of food, so scale down the recipe if you are making this for only a few people.

Cajun Style Baked Sweet Potato

I love sweet potatoes and this is a nice savory recipe for them. Next time I will cut back on the rosemary just for personal preferences. I am also going to try these with a cajun spice recipe from this website.

Cajun Style Meatloaf

I have a bit of a cold so I could not taste all the flavors in this, but my parents both said it tasted great. The only change I made was to use some crushed ritz crackers, but only because I didn't have enough bread crumbs. I will definately make this recipe again.

Caribbean Crab Souffle

This was a quick and easy souffle. I ended up cooking mine about 40 minutes, but other than that made no changes. Next time I make it I think I will increase the coconut and the spices to give it a more powerful flavor.

Applesauce Noodle Kugel

When I made this recipe I made a couple mistakes so I don't know how that affected the final outcome. The one thing I did not like was how the "sauce" settled during baking so I had noodles on top that had nothing on them. I will try this recipe again making sure I follow the recipe and try to find a way to remedy the naked noodles.

I gave this recipe only 3 stars because the jury is still out. It has an interesting flavor. The only things that keep me from rating this higher is the recipe calls for vinegar but what kind? (I used red wine vinegar) and also I think it would taste better if the onions and tomatoes were also cooked and then chilled along with the eggplant. I will give this recipe another try with a few changes to see how I like it.

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)

YUM! This recipe is great! The only changes I made was to omit the red pepper and cornstarch (I thought the sauce did not need thickening). I also cooked the chicken first then made the sauce. This recipe is a keeper!

Guacamole Deviled Eggs

These were great. My family LOVES avocados so I followed the recipe as is. Once my mom tasted one she just kept stuffing them into her mouth and told everyone else that they didn't taste good. This is a great recipe if you want a change from a basic deviled egg.

Mama's Best Broiled Tomato Sandwich

This was a good, easy to make sandwich. For personal tastes, next time I will omit the oil from the tomato marinade, but everything else I will keep as is. I could imagine you could adjust this to have a different flavor, such as cilantro in the mayo and pepper jack cheese on top.

Rich and Creamy Tomato Basil Soup

This was a great recipe. It was smooth and creamy. I personally thought it had a little too much cream and butter, so next time I make it I will cut back to like 1/4 c butter and 3/4 c. cream. On the other hand, my mom thought it was great just as it was. I would suggest adding about half of the cream/butter then tasting and add more if your tastes say to.

Pakistani Style Vegetables

Kitty Litter Cake

This is a funny cake to make. My brother refused to eat it, but everyone else in my family tried it. It is a tasty cake, but not something I would make just for the taste of it alone. If you need a cake for shock value and taste-this is it!

Cherry Squares

These are sweet, tasty treats. It was not as "cherry" tasting as I would have liked, but it is still good. I used maraschino cherry juice in place of the water in the frosting (to give it a little flavor and a nice pink color) and used about 2.5 T instead of the 1T called for in the recipe. Also-if you want this to stay pretty make sure you let it cool-otherwise you get an ooey gooey mess!

Carrot Soup

This was a good soup. I thought decreasing the cayenne pepper by half still gave the dish plenty of zing. I also added some water at the end because the soup was a little too thick for my tastes

Almond Sauce Chicken Breasts

I was not impressed with this recipe at all. After baking the sauce was a grayish color and didn't give the dish enough flavor. If I try this recipe again I will try making it without baking the sauce with the chicken.
