My cooking triumphs
Anything that my kids and husband like enough to ask for seconds. My chili recipe has been published.
My cooking tragedies
A sad slow cooker recipe involving smoked sausage and pineapple... nasty, nasty, nasty

Cheesecake Topped Brownies
These were awesome and went very quickly in my house! The cheesecake topping isn't terribly sweet, so it kind of balances the sweetness of the brownie. Very yummy!

Apple Chicken Stew
This was good, but my kids asked me what was in it that made it taste so odd. I think they weren't prepared for the mixture of chicken and apple. I liked it, but not so much that I'll make it again. I did make the recipe exactly as shown here.

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf
This was FANTASTIC! I have two boys who are kind of picky eaters and they LOVED this. My husband and I as well. The hot pepper sauce (I used Aardvark hot sauce) really adds zing and makes this stand out. I made the recipe exactly as written and the loaf turned out moist and flavorful. The brown sugar topping is a nice foil to the slight heat of the turkey, and the next time I make this I may just double the topping. Very yummy, very highly recommended! Thanks!
