Crispy Turnip 'Fries'
These have potential, but I followed the recipe almost exactly and my fries were no where near crispy. The only change I made was to use olive oil in place of vegetable oil. The flavor was a bit mild and seemed to be missing something. I may fiddle with this again in the future.

Super Simple Salmon
Ok, I did not have all the ingredients on hand so I had to make some changes. First, I used just under 1/2 tsp of sea salt instead of regular salt, plus I added a bit of white pepper. I only had fresh basil on hand so I added that to the butter and let it simmer for a short time before adding the salmon. I also added a bit of lemon juice to the butter since I did not have fresh lemons on hand to serve with the finished meal. It was a very easy dish to make and went over well with the entire family (2 adults, 4 kids aged 2-9 years). In fact, all of the kids asked for seconds and have asked me to make it again soon.

Glazed Lemon Bundt Cake
This is the first recipe that I have not altered and it received rave reviews from everybody. I first made it for a fundraiser cake auction and it sold for $50. I then made another one for the house since the first one smelled so good and the leftover glaze was so tasty. It is a moist, and delicious cake with the perfect amount of lemon flavor. The cake has a more mild lemon taste and the glaze is especially tangy, so they complement each other very well. This has been added to our permanent recipe box and will be made again and again exactly how it is written.
