Oh my god this recipe is to die for! It is heavenly. I burnt the top a bit because it was my first experiment with the broiler feature of my oven. But I picked off the burnt parts and it was amazing. I will surely make this again next year.

Creamiest Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
This is a great, simple, traditional recipe. Of course it tastes better with whole milk. Also, I heated up some Malibu Rum and soaked golden raisins in the hot rum for about 2 hours, then I threw them into the pudding. Also, I was out of heavy cream so I used French Vanilla Coffeemate, just a little, and the non-fat free kind. With these changes it was really good! Thanks!

Really really good - but make sure to crush up the pretzels COMPLETELY because I had some chunks that made pressing it into the pie plate a little difficult. Thanks for the recipe!

Poke Cake III

Play around with this recipe, its lots of fun. I made a chocolate cake mix (added a box of instant pudding and one egg) and baked in a 9x13. Then I poured raspberry gelatin over the top, chilled, cut in half and filled the middle layer with raspberry jelly, and frosted with dark chocolate frosting. Delicious!

Peppy's Pita Bread

Amazing, easy, and really fun to make. Impress your friends by putting out some marinated lamb, cucumbers in sauce, lettuce and falafel, then have the pitas baking when they come over for dinner. Great dinner party idea.

Most amazing cookies ever! You have to try them. They dont spread as much as you would think, so dont worry about that. Also, I omitted one egg and addded more ricotta. Good stuff, easy, and I love them!! Thanks for this excellent recipe

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
A tip for lasagna with no bake noodles: do NOT place them directly to the edges, and you dont have to overlap!! Pasta absorbs water and grows in size when it cooks. I made this recipe and the "sauce" was equivalent to about 2 pounds of melted cheese! The ladagna was too dry. I know it was my fault for thinking that the sauce was enough, but I would try this one again with my own alfredo sauce or one from this site. Here's a tip: Make the sauce according to these directions for layering, then POUR a thinner alfredo around the edges.

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
Good, very moist. I dont have a loaf pan so I make all of my breads in a 9x9 glass pan. I know, its strange, but it works. Had to cook it a bit longer, and it was still a little undone in the middle. But we loved it anyway! One thing I would add is salt. The flavor is kinda bland without it. I would make it again!

Great! It disappeared fast. The only change I made was, I put ALL of the cookie crumbs into the middle and then frosted the cake with chocolate frosting. Try it also with chocolate cake mix.

This recipe tasted just like caramel, and it got just hard enough on the outside when it cooled. It was delicious, but even my high school students told me it was "too sweet".

So delish that I could not stop eating it!!! I used brown sugar instead, and I used a round 8 inch pan and reduced the time by about 5 or 10 mins. SOOOO good! I will never ever mash bananas in my bread again.
