Hello, I am a speech languag therapist living in Florida. I have a wonderful husband and three year old daughter. I work full time so making time to cook is sometimes a challenge. I love getting ideas from this site. Although I am busy, I really love cooking and baking. I just like getting in the kitchen and cooking knowing that my family will appreciate my effort. Thanksgiving is always at my Mom's house and she does all the cooking- got to LOVE that. Christmas alternates between my Uncle's house (my side of the family) and my mother-in-law in Kansas. I have a Broccoli Cheese casserole that I always make at Christmas time and it is always GONE- fast. Before we moved Christmas to my Uncle's house, we were still having it at my grandmother's house. She is so wonderful but as time marches on it was getting harder and harder for her to cook for big family get togethers. So, the last three years that we had Christmas at Grandma's I did 99% of the cooking to help alleviate the pressure off Grandma. I really enjoyed blessing her and I loved cooking Christmas dinner for my family. Oh well, I guess I am human like the rest of you. I have burnt things, put in too much salt, ect. It happens to the best of us :)
