I live in the country with my two dogs, Max and Suki. Max is a 126-lb. rottweiler and Suki is a 10-lb. cockapoo. I often have friends and family over as "guinea pigs" to try out new dishes. I love experimenting with recipes and trying new foods.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy cooking lasagna and other pasta dishes (using homemade sauce, of course), stir fried foods, meatloaf, soups/stews, breads and desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making tons and tons of Christmas cookies to give to all my friends and family. I also love making a huge Christmas brunch with a variety of foods to choose from. Every year it seems like more and more people are stopping by for my Christmas brunches.
My cooking triumphs
Any time an experimental dish turns out GREAT.
My cooking tragedies
The first couple of times I attempted to make homemade bread. The loaves kept coming out like bricks. I was finally able to conquer the breadmaking techniques and now love making a variety of bread.
