About this Cook
I have always enjoyed cooking. My mother recalls having to put a hook and eye lock on our kitchen door when I was very young because she would wake up to flour and sugar all over the kitchen as I was trying to prepare "something"!
My favorite things to cook
My families favorites are my chicken parmesan, chicken marsala, and turkey dinner. I have turned them on to fish with some great salmon and swordfish recipes!
My cooking triumphs
I prepared a meal on night for supper and my family said "this is delicious, can we have it again tomorrow!"
My cooking tragedies
This has happened more than once. I have experimented with recipes and made a huge mess in the kitchen. After coaxing my family to "just try it"... they asked if we could order pizza!

Giant Ding Dong Cake
It's beautiful and tastes just like a giant Ding Dong. Fun to make, lots of steps, but worth the work. The kids will LOVE it!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
These cookies are very good. Not my favorite, I haven't found that recipe yet, but a very good cookie!

Baked Fruit Dip
I never leave such a low rating, but I just don't get it. The swiss cheese gives it such a bitter taste. The cranberry flavor was overwhelming too. I also had to cook it an extra 15 minutes and it still was very loose. Sorry for the negative review, but this isn't for everyone.
