Grandma VanDoren's White Bread
The instructions on this recipe seem incomplete - I never got the "sponge" described in step 1 and it didn't double in size either. The bread did taste okay even though it didn't rise properly. Next time I will proof the yeast before adding other ingredients.

Butterscotch Oatmeal

Cinnamon Sweet Potato Chips
Chips turned out soggy instead of crispy. I used a mandoline slicer to cut the potatoes as thin and even as possible but they still didn't turn out well.
