Snow Ice Cream II

I made this with 3 qt snow & used 1/2 pint of heavy cream with sugar and vanilla. WOW kids loved it! Really fun family treat. THANK YOU

Can't really give much of a suggestion on how to improve this!! I'm an icing lover and thought no way can I attempt these and not make icing - but honestly none was needed. I cooked mine in a large baking dish (which I buttered and floured) as I like to pull the rolls apart. Good suggestions earlier re: dough being sticky, no icing needed. This is a genuine 5 STAR rating!!!

Yummy Pineapple Beef Steak Marinade

This was simple and yumm-ishous. Used juice from canned pineapple (had that on hand) and grilled the rings. Also used 1/3 of splenda brown sugar and Veggie Oil rather than olive oil. Be aware that with all this sugar it could burn faster on your BBQ. Try same recipe with fresh Lime Juice! THANK YOU!

Crispy Chicken Parmesan

I took other's advice and pounded the chicken, the croutons made it come out well with added crispy texture. Didn't like the left overs even though they were reheated in oven... but great fast fix for a yummy supper that everyone will enjoy. Thanks

Prego® Now and Later Baked Ziti

Smart idea to have one for now and one for later! Used a bit less meat (had what was thawed! LOL) and it was fine. Added a bit more cheese on top as my family loves it - this was great - thanks!

Breakfast Casserole

I took other's advice and left out the chips - but I imagine it would have been better with a crunchy topping. I cooked meat and onions a bit before adding, sour cream didn't smell right so I used some cream I had. I also took to heart opther comments it needed longer cooking time & I microwaved potatoes a bit before baking. YUM!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Really great pot pie recipe. I glazed the top crust with an egg wash - made it look really special and that much more 'done'! Added more veggies and there were no leftovers!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Everyone in my family loved this! I was in a rush and only used mushroom soup and milk. I precooked bacon as others suggested, pounded out breasts and folded in half, laying bacon inside and a few strips across the top and baked in soup/milk mixture. it was a HUGE HIT with everyone. Will be making this again for sure.

Restaurant Style Lasagna

Wonderful basic recipe to start with. Like many others I added to it - added sausage and beef, herbs, garlic (my family loves garlic)I used jar sauce because I was pressed for time. Can't understand why others are saying it was dry? Perhaps they are using no bake noodles or thick sauce? I would really recommend this recipe as a wonderful starting point to create one's signature lasagna dish.

My Mother-in-Law's Cheese Sauce...ssshh Don't Tell Her

Good suggestion with the corn starch. I used several types of cheese that I had on hand. The kids are gobbling up the mixed veggies they usually refuse! Yay!

Macaroni and Cheese Bake

Used this as a starting point to try and create a lower fat/lower cal mac & cheese. The soup did a great job. I added about 1.5 oz sharp cheddar to help flavor. Kids and I liked it a lot.

Janine's Best Banana Bread

very good, basic recipe I also used white & brown sugar I didn't have any problem with bread being dry - I also mashed bananas didn't let them become mush like very ripe ones often do.
