Recently recloated from USA to Ontario, waiting 6 to 8 months for papers so I can get a job!, meantime back to school on line to get my RN, 2 children in school and a husband who teaches and is a hockey goalie.... busy, hungry & happy!! My son has Epilepsy so every day can be a challenge because after 9 years he's not well controlled with his 3 meds... Wouldn't change a thing though!

My favorite things to cook are meals that create wonderful aromas while cooking - sweet, savory, spicy it doesn't matter. My passion is baking, lately I have been working to make light flaky pastry...any suggestions for what I can do next??

My cooking tragedies
My mother once told me as a child she had loved fried bread. I was about 11, armed with cooking oil and a loaf of white bread. I attempted to 'fry' the bread. Needless to say it wasn't what she was referring to....
