Bonnie's Fruit Dip

Very good! I order to cut calories I used yoghurt instead of sour cream and reduced the amount of whipped cream. Also added brown sugar instead of white sugar and more maple syrup. Served it with chopped almonds on the top.

Apple Banana Cupcakes

These are really good! I took the advice of some reviewers and chopped the apples instead of shredding. I also subsituted some of the white sugar with brown sugar and topped the muffins with the mixture of margerine, brown sugar, walnuts and flour. I offered these muffins to my workmates and there were no leftovers!

Cavatappi with Spinach, Garbanzo Beans, and Feta

It makes good and healthy dish. I used less spinach and chick peas and more lemon juice than indicated in the original recipe. I also added mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and some bay leaves for better taste.

Coconut Custard Pie III

It is very tasty and has a strong coconut flavor. I used homemade crust, three eggs, half cup of sugar and coconut and slighty less than two cups of milk - it was enough for one pie.

Candied Garlic Chicken Wings

Very good appetiser! I did not have enough honey and subsituted half of it with maple syrup. I also added more garlic and some cayanne pepper. Thanks for the great recipe!

Mocha Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Very tasty! I used slightly less chocholate chips and bitter chocholate instead of semisweet. Next time I try with white chocholate! I also substituted half of the white sugar with brown sugar and used more coffee as some reviewers suggested. I sprinkled chopped walnuts and chocholate on the top of the muffins - makes really nice presentation!

Apple Maple Crumble Pie

Really good pie in a cold evening! I used chopped almonds instead of rolled oats. Also I sprinkled apples with fresh lemon juice and used slightly less sugar, so the pie was not too sweet. I made it for my friends and there were no leftovers! Thanks for the recipe, Helene.

Orzo and Tomato Salad with Feta Cheese

Delicious! I added three tomatoes instead of one and less olive-oil (extra light). Fresh herbs really make it good! Be careful with adding salt: olives and feta are already salty.

Pear-Ginger Sorbet

It is really very easy to make but the result is nothing special. 1/2 teaspoon ginger is definately too much, just a pinch is enough. I also added a small can mixed fruit salad for better taste and kept the dessert in the freezer for 2 hours before serving.

Suki's Spinach and Feta Pasta

Great recipe! I used canned tomatoes and spinach instead of fresh and more feta and garlic than indicated in the recipe. I fried mushrooms before adding tomatoes and spinach. Also tried without mushrooms - still tastes good. Next day I baked the leftovers in the oven and added some feta on the top. It became nice and crispy. Thanks, Suki.

Zucchini with Chickpea and Mushroom Stuffing

It had very interesting taste. I served it with cous-cous. I used less than half of zucchini flesh. Next time I will use more mushrooms, zucchini flesh and lemon juice and less chick peas. Thank you, Jackie, for an interesting recipe!

Pavlova's Pavlova
