Caramel Apple Pie I

very good and easy. I added a tsp of cinnamon to the apples, then leayered them with the nuts and caramel. Went over really well for Thanksgiving dessert.

Pecan Pumpkin Dessert

Really, really good. HOWEVER I did add a tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 of ginger and 1/4 cloves. Also, only used an 8 oz container of cool whip. And I only had wlanuts on hand so used them instead of pecans. Made it for a church luncheon and it went over very well.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Very good and tasty. made it for tahnksgiving as a test and it went over well (although it's not really a normal thanksgiiving item). I used brown rice instead since that's all I had and shredded sharp cheddar. really good. Would be even better in summer with garden zucchini and tomatoes.

Brussels Sprouts in a Sherry Bacon Cream Sauce

OMG was this good and I even omitted the bacon since we have so many vegetarians in our family. Made this for thanksgiving dinner and they were a huge hit!. I couldn't stop nibbling on them as I was cooking them. My father said they were the best brussels sprouts he ever had in his life! Awesome, awesome recipe. Will def be making them again for xmas!

Peanut Butter Cake II

Basically a good cake but the frosting definitely took more than 1/3 c cream. I would switch to milk next time and add more. decorated with chopped reeses on top, choc ganache, and pirouline around the sides. Very pretty.

Blueberry Streusel Cobbler

really good. Blueberries were not in season so I used peaches and it was delicious. The sauce really makes it. Took it to a church dinner and brought nothing home except requests for the recipe.

I also used 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening. these were really good. Will make again this coming weekend. did have to add a little milk to make the dough moist enough to combine.

Orange Bread

Almond Chocolate Coconut Cookies II

I made these with 3 c. choc chips as suggested and made them inot giant cookies (about 40). Baked for 10 mins at 350 and they were superb! Many compliments. Next time I think I'll susbstitute one of the tsp van for almond ext.
