My favourite chocolate chip cookie - they turn out moist and chewy. I use slightly less nuts, underbake by about a minute to ensure maximum chewiness, and refrigerate the batter for about 15 minutes prior to baking. Great cookie!!!

This is an easy dessert that turned out well - it was flavourful and the apples were tender. I used a little less sugar, a little more cinnamon, and about 1 1/2 cups of sour cream for the topping. I also omitted the flaked coconut since we don't like it. As others have noted, it's important not to press the crust down too firmly or it will get too hard during baking. This dessert is excellent when served with vanilla ice cream!

I made this for my boyfriend, who is half-German, and crazy about pork & sauerkraut. He raved about it! I made the following modifications - I used a crock pot (7 hours on low) and added 1/2 cup water & 1/2 cup apple juice. I also added a little more chopped apple and onion to the crock pot. It turned out incredibly tender and tasty. This is a really easy, quick recipe that I will be happy to prepare again & again.
