Apple Kuchen
This is an easy dessert that turned out well - it was flavourful and the apples were tender. I used a little less sugar, a little more cinnamon, and about 1 1/2 cups of sour cream for the topping. I also omitted the flaked coconut since we don't like it. As others have noted, it's important not to press the crust down too firmly or it will get too hard during baking. This dessert is excellent when served with vanilla ice cream!
