Cinnamon Sugar Butter Cookies II

These cookies are delicious. I followed the ingredients on the recipe exactly and they were perfect! I use one of those little mini scoopers for perfect 1" round balls, so chilling the dough was not necessary at all. Finally, I cooked them for 16 minutes, which was perfect. Any longer and they would have been too hard instead of soft and chewy like I like them! This recipe is definitely a keeper!!!

Alfredo Sauce

Based on the previous reviews, I thought this alfredo sauce would be amazing! I was very disappointed :(....Maybe it was me, but my sauce turned out very chunky/gritty from the fresh parmesan cheese. I was very careful to add it slowly and stir, stir, stir, but it just didn't work out. My hubby, who is happy to eat whatever I put in front of him wouldn't even finish it!

T Bird's Beef Jerky

This beef jerky was easy to make and the directions were great, but honestly I thought it was laking any real flavor. Will continue to search for the perfect beef jerky recipe.

Pumpkin Loaf

I was actually a bit disappointed in this pumpkin loaf recipe. First of all, it wasn't very moist, secondly you could not taste any of the cream cheese flavor and finally it was actually pretty bland. I will continue to search for the perfect pumpkin/cream cheese loaf recipe...

Brownie Mix in a Jar II

Excellent! I too, made the recommended changes. 3 eggs, 1 c butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 c choc chips, less sugar (I did 2 c. but next time might even do a little less) and no nuts (personal preference). Brownies are one of my favorite desserts and the best thing is, I can now make them hydrogenated free from scratch! YEAH!!!!

Carrot Cake III

I made this cake for my son's first birthday party a few days ago and it was a hit!!! I too, made a few changes that really made this cake great. I used 3/4 cup oil plus 1/2 cup applesauce instead of the full amount of oil, I used 1 cup each white and brown sugar and also added 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg. As for the frosting, I reduced the powdered sugar to 2 1/4 cups. This recipe was delicious and I am sure would be with or without any of the changes mentioned above. In fact, I think I am going to go eat another leftover piece right now :)!! Thanks Tammy!
