I grew up in a very "ethnic" city, learning how to cook Italian, Polish, Greek, and English food. I'm drawn in by many hobbies, mostly to do with cooking, cake decorating, and needlework. Italian food is my specialty, probably because I love it so much. Baking is also a passion, especially different foods I've never made before. I love Allrecipes because there's so many exciting recipes to try! My family loves the Bow Ties & Sausage recipe Allrecipes has published in 2 of their cookbooks. However, many of you that have tried it keep saying the sauce is thin and you thicken it with flour or cornstarch. This sauce is meant to be poured on top of the bow ties and mixed together on the stove...let simmer for about 5 minutes. It will then thicken on it's own. Cream Puffs was something I thought was so hard to make. A few years ago, I had time on my hands, and decided to try them. Easy as pie!! I couldn't believe how easy they are to make! My biggest cooking tragedy was a cake a friend gave me the recipe for. I tried it 3 times, and it wouldn't come out. Later, I found out she left out some key ingredients!
