D's Famous Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2003
Love this salsa! I throw all the ingredients in a food processor and have fresh salsa in minutes. I have played with the ingredients a little. More garlic and more jalapeno pepper and less cilantro suits our palates a little better.

Italian Bread Baked on a Pizza Stone

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2003
My husband and I absolutely adore this bread. It is really great dipped in olive oil and herbs and it makes wonderful toast! I am still working on getting the bread neatly onto the stone. Sometimes I do well, and sometimes the loaves end up oddly-shaped because after I slide the bread onto the stone, we have to use a spatula to shift them off the oven rack and back onto the stone. No matter the shape, it still tastes great!

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2003
I followed the directions exactly, but when I took this to a New Year's Eve party with approximately 50 people, hardly anyone there liked the dip. I won't make it again.

Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2002
I absolutely love this soup! I did use only 2 red peppers instead of the 3 called for in the recipe, and it was super. The addition of the peppers spices up the tomato soup and makes it really flavorful.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2002
This was quick and easy, but only needed to simmer about half the time given. Also, I added more garlic and more oregano to pop the flavor.
