About this Cook
I am a Lifestyle Expert living in Arizona with my two gorgeous kids and my husband. I have a segment on Sonoran Living on ABC 15 on Fridays. I cook, entertain or decorate live on the show. I also teach cooking classes and throw cooking parties. My company is www.completelyu.com and it has been a total blessing to my clients as well as to my own family.
My favorite things to cook
Southern Soul Food baby! Fried Chicken, Catfish, Collard Greens, Macaroni and Cheese, Peach Cobbler. You name it, I cook it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
During Holidays, I love to get up at the crack of dawn and start cooking. I love having the smell of good food wake everyone up instead of the alarm clock.
My cooking triumphs
I cooked for a Raphael Saadiq (Tony,Toni,Tone) concert. That was fun!
My cooking tragedies
It took me two years to perfect my peach cobbler. My husband tells people, "I had to eat alot of nasty cobbler." LOL!

Salmon Patties II
This was good. Now, I'm a southern girl so I like my food to taste like the food I'm cookin. This was perfect because there weren't a bunch of ingredients to overpower the salmon. I did add onions and used Italian Bread Crumbs instead of flour.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V
It was very good. I didn't have any chicken broth so I used water and it was still very tasty! My picky husband even said it was good.

Grilled Mahi Mahi
Good flavor. I don't think I'm a fan of the texture of this fish but that has nothing to do with the recipe. It was good. Spicy and flavorful.
