Venison Chili

A Very Hearty Chili! Different from any I have ever had before. The flavor is quite good. I used ground venison also, whole can of tomato paste, used southwestern blended chipotle chili powder and doubled it. I cooked it on high in the crock pot for 1.5 hours and served it with Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread. Thought we had died and we went to heaven stomach first!

Connie's Zucchini 'Crab' Cakes

I am not sure that I would go so far as to believe for a moment that these could as good as my crab cakes but they are exceptional none the less! My daughter doesn't eat eggs, and these work fine without them. I also made them with just spray oil to the pan to reduce the fat. No problem. I made extra to take to lunch this week with some homemade gazpacho too. Really good combo, and good for you too

Gazpacho II

Love this Recipe!!! The only change I made is to add salsa as I did not have pimentos and put in extra of my smoked chipoltle hot pepper sauce. Some like it HOT. Me included!!

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

I made this for my vegetarian daughter, roommates and boyfriends. It was great, the boys had no idea it was even vegetarian!! I doubled the recipe and froze the left overs. Great the following week too!

Guinness® Corned Beef

We LOVE love love this recipe! I am taking it to work with me for St.Patrick's Day. We have a friendly "best cook" competition and this will throw me into the front! My family got a little concerned I wouldn't make some for home too. It will just be a 2 crockpot kinda day. . . Lucky me I will get it twice!

Warm Blue Cheese Dip with Garlic and Bacon
