These were alright. I did add coconut as recommended by another reviewer, and I'm glad I did because it added more flavor. The kids liked them, probably because they were very sweet. It would be better if the directions were a little more detailed as far as cooking the chocolate mixture. I may try these again...

This bread was fantastic! I did make a couple of minor changes. I added 1/2 cup less sugar and did NOT miss it! It is plenty sweet with less sugar. I added 1 extra teaspoon of vanilla extract. I did not use the cinnamon... I don't care for cinnamon in my banana bread. I used pecans instead of walnuts, just because I prefer pecans. Macadamia nuts would be awesome in this as well (if you can afford them!). The consistency of this bread is wonderful and the flavor is delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe! I will be making this again many more times!

Simple, delicious, and perfect! I have never had a bread machine recipe come out this good before. My whole family loved them and I will make these again many times! I did not make any changes to the recipe and I would recommend NOT changing it in any way. It is absolutely perfect as is. Debbie, thank you so much for sharing this recipe!
