Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Just what I was looking for! I used chicken instead of beef, and substituted one can of Rotel for the green chiles. Super recipe that everyone in my family enjoys.

Southern Living magazine's Blackberry Cobbler

This recipe made a really great filling. It was not too sweet and not too tart, and the spices added just a complement of flavor. I used ready-made pie crust (2) and placed the filling in a 9x13 pan before covering with the crust. I thought it could have cooked just a few minutes longer, but otherwise a success. Thanks.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

This is a great recipe my husband loves to cook because it's fast and easy. We eat it at least every other week now! I like to serve it over bowtie pasta and sprinkled with lots of parmesan cheese. So good!

Maybe I did something wrong, but the breading on the chicken did get soggy and fell off the pieces of meat. I wasn't pleased with this recipe. Too much work!

Enchilada Casserole III

I thought this was a super recipe. It is easy, very filling and great for leftovers. I substituted the canned enchilada sauce for the dry mix and tomato paste, and thought it was excellent. Be sure to serve with sour cream, lettuce and salsa.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

These were good, but I was disappointed the potatoes didn't have better flavor with all those spices. I think perhaps sticking to just garlic and rosemary would be better and simpler. The other spices combined are just too overpowering. I turned the broiler on for the last couple of minutes for crispier edges.

Glazed Pork Chop

Easy easy, tasty tasty! I used dijon mustard, and also mixed in the lemon juice. I lightly browned the chops before baking at 350 for 30 minutes and broiling for a couple additional minutes to caramelize the glaze. This recipe is a real winner if you're looking for a quick, flavorful way to cook chops.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Very good, smells great when cooking and easy too. I thought the sauce ended up thin, and after reading some other reviews realized doubling the amount of cornstarch next time will help. I don't think I'll bother browning the meat next time as it took most of the prep time, and it would cook fine in the crock pot. We loved this over egg noodles. My husband likes more kick, so he added hot sauce and was very happy. Good recipe!

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

Cajun Seafood Pasta

Definitely not for the faint of heart. I cut the pepper amounts by about 1/3, and it still was spicy! I also used 1 lb. of shrimp, which tasted great. Pretty quick and easy to make.

Wisconsin Cheese Soup I

Skillet Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Try this recipe! Very quick, easy and tasty. I added quite a bit more milk (about 1 1/2 cups) so there would be plenty of gravy, and also added some sliced fresh mushrooms. Great over mashed potatoes. Thank you for an easy, delicious recipe.

Classy Chicken

Super recipe with a unique, wonderful flavor. The dill adds a tang that makes it perfect. I also added some fresh sliced mushrooms, which seemed to go very well. Serve over pasta. A keeper that I will be making again!

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

Nice basic recipe. Next time I will add more half and half for more sauce. I also did not add all of the black pepper (that's a lot!), but I will be experimenting with this recipe to find something that gives it a little more flavor. Overall a nice dish.

Nice, quick recipe that doesn't taste like it just took a few minutes to throw together. Like other reviewers suggested, next time I will heat the tuna/soup/cheese mixture together so it blends better. Great recipe!

Rosemary Chicken with Orange-Maple Glaze

I really liked this recipe. Excellent, aromatic dish. I used dried rosemary and it worked fine. The sauce is thin, but it didn't matter. Quick, tasty recipe that I will make again.
