Witlof with Ham

This was the first time I had ever cooked witlof, but it took me back to the year I spent in Belgium. My attempt was not as good as I remember a gracious host once serving but it was definitely decadent. It was the first time I had ever eaten Gruyere cheese-delicious but pricey!
