Loved this recipe and so did my husband. However, does anyone have any suggestions for spreading the mayo? I had a tough time with that. Thanks!

My Mother used to make this very salad every Christmas and Thanksgiving. She whipped cream from scratch, but I like going the easy way. There was really very little difference in taste so why go through all the hassle? Besides I once made this for a family gathering years ago (with real whip cream) and forgot to add the sugar to the whip cream. Yuk. That was just one of MY kitchen disasters.

I knew I could count on Allrecipes.com when I wanted to find a recipe for beef stew like my grandmother used to make. I prepared it as directed, except for the celery (don't care for celery). Thanks for the memories.
