Quick Chili I
GREAT recipe. Super easy- throw it together an hour before dinnertime and it's ready to go. Tastes as good as some of those 'all-day' chili's I've been a slave to the kitchen for. Dress it up as you like- add a little extra kick with some cheyanne pepper, or make a little 'fixin's' bar for company with cheese, chips, green onions, sour cream and jalapenos. Well liked by all.

Slow Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup
Delicious!!! My husband and I both agreed, this is our new favorite Split Pea Soup. I'm used to making soup with a ham bone and all- but never again! Super easy and even better the next day. Added more carrots and a little less potatoes as they don't freeze in soup well.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs
Really, really good! Such a simple, easy recipe. Cooking the meatballs in the sauce creates a wonderfully flavored, rich sauce. I live in Manhattan and regularly go to Little Italy for sauce, and this recipe could hold it's own! I pureed the original sauce slightly with my emersion blender, my kids don't care for 'chunks' in their sauce. Otherwise, followed the recipe!
