I think I added too much whole corn and it took longer to set up than the 45 minutes. I turned off the oven and left the casserole in to set up - it took about 30 minutes. It was delicious and everyone like it a lot. I'll make it again using the right amount of everything. Any issues I had with this recipe were operator error! Yum!!

I took this to the office and it disappeared in a couple of hours. A keeper! Like other reviewers, I used peaches in lite syrup, used only half the juice, sprinkled cinnamon over the peaches before putting on the cake mix, and sprinkled brown sugar and cinnamon on top. I put the butter in the freezer and shredded it before putting on the cake. I think slicing it would work too. This comes out way more like a cobbler than a cake, but so incredibly simple and so incredibly delicious. Next time I'll serve with vanilla ice cream. YUMMY!

Excellent cake! I made it for my office as a test for another event and they loved it! One person suggested buying an oven for the office. =) I used chocolate fudge cake mix and mini chocolate chips. Fantastic!! The mini chips really up the gooey factor. DH thought the cake was a little oily, but I didn't want to change a good thing before the real event. Next time I'll try half oil and half milk. I'm also going to try the mint variation and the peanut butter variation. Oh, and I dusted it with powdered sugar only. Anything more and it would be too sweet. Thanks!
