Grandma Johnson's Scones

These are by far the best scones I have ever tasted! I used 1/2. raisins and a 1/2 c. chopped dates which I cooked in 1/2c. water until absorbed. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. DELICIOUS!

I must diagree with the other reviews. While this recipe is great for quick prep I found it to be rather tasteless and has a very unappetizing appearance. Sorry, I will not be making this again.
