A fabulous, 5-star recipe. I did mine in an electric skillet, because I didn't want to turn on my oven and it was still superb! The dip was still good lukewarm (better of course piping hot, but still great)! This is definitely a recipe worth trying. I guarantee it'll become a favorite.

I chose this recipe because I didn't have any vegetable oil and didn't want to go down to the store to buy some. Next time, I'll make the trip to the store. While the flavor IS good, the batter was extremely hard to work with and I ended up having clumps of the butter/flour mixture running throughout the batter after adding the pumpkin. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I won't be making this one again.

This was an excellent recipe! As per a few previous reviews, I did add a little cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. I baked mine as muffins rather than loafs, but the end result was fantastic! The recipe is more of a cake rather than a bread, so make sure that is what you're looking for when choosing a recipe. Will definately make this one again. My husband loves it!
